A vet camp provides campers with the opportunity to learn what it is like to be a vet.  At Cub Creek Science Camp camper who take part in our Jr. Vet course will;

• learn how to tell if an animal is health or not

• conduct exams including weighing, measuring, taking a temperature and other vital statistics on a wide variety of animals

• creating or updating animal charts

• learn how to use a microscope to look for internal parasites

• look at real x-rays and learn what they can tell us about the condition of an animal

• learn how to give injections

• learn how to suture

• learn how to trim hooves, toe nails and flight feather

Campers not only learn about dog and cat health and care, but also farm animals and more exotic animals than any other program.
